Paul Allen - Senior Manager
Paul completed his Bachelor of Business (Accounting) in 1995 and commenced with insolvency accountants, Bent & Cougle in Melbourne.
In 1999 Paul travelled to England and continued his career at BDO Stoy Hayward working as a Senior Accountant in the Business Recovery Division. He was responsible for managing a large active caseload which included a variety of corporate recovery matters including restaurants, aged care facilities and hotels. While there, he also undertook an eight month secondment with a property development firm.
In 2005, Paul worked as a Manager in the Forensic Department – Asset Investigation and Control. He prepared asset management reports and oversaw the trading on of companies including magazine publishers and property developers. He was also involved in managing a caseload of court receiverships appointed under the Proceeds of Crime Act, the Criminal Justice Act and the Drug Trafficking Act.
Paul returned to Australia in 2007 and joined Taylor Woodings in 2009. Paul has continued to gain experience in a wide range of insolvency appointments including voluntary administrations, liquidations, bankruptcies and Part X arrangements.
Paul has experience in a wide range of industries including hospitality, retail, hotels, franchising and property development.
Paul is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK) and the Insolvency Practitioners Association of Australia.
