Ian Francis - Partner
Ian’s career began in 1986 when he joined a firm of chartered accountants as an undergraduate and then completed his Bachelor of Commerce degree. Since that time, most of Ian’s work has been focused in the areas of corporate advisory, corporate restructuring and personal insolvency.
Ian joined Taylor Woodings’ Perth office in 1994 and has since established strong working relationships with most major retail banks, a number of accounting firms, major law firms and a number of large public companies and government agencies.
Ian has extensive experience in undertaking financial investigations and evaluations for a range of clients in industries as diverse as building and construction, retail, property, mining, transport, fishing and rural services.
Ian was a board member of the WA State Committee of the Insolvency Practitioners Association of Australia from 1994 to 2007 and was a national board member from 2003 to 2006. Ian is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, the Insolvency Practitioners Association of Australia, and the Australian Institute of Credit Management.
Ian is a Registered Liquidator, an Official Liquidator and a Registered Trustee under the Bankruptcy Act.
