Mark Englebert - Partner

Mark started his career with KPMG in the UK in 1987 having gained Honours in a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) degree in 1987 from the University of Birmingham.
Mark joined Taylor Woodings in 1996, has since undertaken all types of formal insolvency appointments, provided strategic advice to financiers regarding new and distressed loans and provided professional support in major insolvency litigation cases.
In 2002 Mark spent 12 months on secondment in the credit and recovery area of a national retail bank. In this time Mark was responsible for management of a portfolio of under-performing and distressed loans.
Mark has particular expertise in the mining, transport and agribusiness industries.
The more complex formal assignments Mark has undertaken have been with listed mining companies and have involved dealing with the ASX’s financial reporting and continuous disclosure requirements, understanding complex joint venture requirements, tackling significant operational issues and attending to forecasting and monitoring, hedge book issues and the preparation of business assets for sale.
Mark is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales, the Insolvency Practitioners’ Association of Australia, and the Australian Institute of Credit Management.
