Renewable Energy Power Station - Herron WA
The Receivers and Managers of Mount Herron Engineering Pty Ltd seek expressions of interest for the purchase of Mount Herron Power Station as a going concern. Situated at Herron, Western Australia, it was commissioned in July 2007 and trades on the Wholesale Electricity Market.
The renewable energy facility generates methane gas through the anaerobic digestion of biomass which fuels a natural gas 1.4MW GE Jenbacher generator. The electricity generation is then exported to WP Networks via a 2MVA transformer and 22kV switchgear. The Power Station is also a licensed liquid controlled waste disposal site and has Office of Renewable Energy Regulator accreditation.
An Information Memorandum will be available following the execution of Confidentiality Agreement and payment of a deposit of $2,000.
